OUTPUT

Export

How Klamra exports NLE timelines, subtitles, audio, and final video.

01

Three export workflows

Klamra provides three streamlined export modules: Video & audio, For editing (NLE), and Subtitles & text. All files are generated instantaneously based on your speech cuts.

Video & audioMP4 Video (H.264 / HEVC) · M4A Audio (AAC) · WAV Audio (PCM 48 kHz)
For editing (NLE)FCP 7 XML (.xml) for Premiere Pro & DaVinci Resolve · FCPXML 1.9 (.fcpxml) for Final Cut Pro
Subtitles & textSRT (.srt) · WebVTT (.vtt) · Plain Text (.txt)
02

NLE Timeline Export (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut)

Rather than rendering a final file, you can move your cuts directly into your favorite video editor while preserving full handles and source media:

  • FCP 7 XML (.xml) — Universal timeline exchange standard, natively supported by Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
  • FCPXML 1.9 (.fcpxml) — Modern XML format tailored for Apple Final Cut Pro.
  • In your NLE, every cut can be trimmed or extended non-destructively since original source media is preserved.
03

Subtitles and Transcripts with Cut-Adjusted Timing

Klamra automatically recalculates all timecodes after removing cut pauses, filler words, and discarded takes:

  • SRT (.srt) — Industry standard for YouTube, social media, and video players.
  • WebVTT (.vtt) — Native format for web browsers and HTML5 video players.
  • Plain Text (.txt) — Clean transcription without omitted speech, ideal for show notes, articles, or AI prompts.
04

Rendered Video & Audio

For direct publication, Klamra stitches and hardware-encodes your preserved segments via Apple VideoToolbox:

  • MP4 — Choose H.264 (broad compatibility) or HEVC (smaller file size at equivalent quality).
  • WAV — Studio-grade uncompressed PCM 16-bit 48 kHz audio, ideal for DAW mastering (Logic Pro, Reaper).
  • M4A — High-efficiency AAC 256 kbps audio for immediate podcast distribution.

Audio Mastering & Loudness

When Pure Voice is enabled, exports use the cleaned MossFormer2 48 kHz voice track. Target loudness is set to −14 LUFS with True Peak limiting to prevent digital clipping.
